It’s a blink and miss kind of a place that people drive by without really noticing it. If it were not for a large ‘Asian-Ginger’ sign outside that shows up from quite a distance, this sweet little Japanese sushi joint would never be found.

What precedes it is its reputation of one of the best sushi joins in this part of Massachusetts.

It’s a bit dark as you step inside, the main front door opening into a tiny lobby whose walls are packed with autographed pictures of their loyal customers and some famous faces that have patronized the restaurant. Happy faces,grinning faces, painted faces, even some grumpy faces. The faces of the owners show up grinning at almost all the pictures.The restaurant is tiny, with limited seating. Rust, moss green and brown rectangular board mosaic layer the walls, giving them depth and texture.

We have been regulars here for two years now. They serve Sushi, sashmi and maki, besides a variety of other dishes in the å la carte menu. But not just not any sushi and sashmi. They serve ‘all-you-can-eat’ sushi all day, everyday of the week. At $20 bucks per person (weekends it’s $23), this is a price that’s hard to beat, anywhere.

What is remarkable is that while the prices are really low, Asian Ginger does not compromise on quality. Their sushi and maki are consistently good, made of fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The owners are friendly and often remember names of their returning customers, an amazing quality.

Once seated, the server presents you with a sheet of paper that has a very long lists of appetizers, maki, sushi rolls. You can order an order of six rolls, as many times as you like. However, they do have a rule in place that if you leave uneaten pieces on your plate, they will charge $1 per piece. So eat all the food on your plate, like Mom said 😀
